Terms of Service
Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement") carefully. By sliding "Slide to start!", or by otherwise accessing or using the Soon app ("Soon", "the App", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
Soon is a personal travel-countdown companion. It counts down to a trip you enter, shows a home-screen widget, and offers an optional preparation checklist with suggestions such as booking flights, hotels, eSIM data, and travel insurance. Soon is an informational and organizational tool only.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial use, subject to this Agreement and the app store terms through which you obtained it.
3. Affiliate links and third-party partners
Soon participates in affiliate programs. Some suggestions and buttons link to third-party partners — including flight, eSIM, hotel, car-rental, and travel-insurance providers reached through networks such as Travelpayouts, Stay22, and their merchants (e.g. Kiwi.com, Airalo, Booking.com, Klook, Auto Europe). If you tap these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. These partners are independent; their websites, apps, prices, availability, bookings, payments, and customer service are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell, provide, or guarantee any partner product, and we are not a party to any transaction you make with them.
4. No professional advice
Content in the App — including checklist items about visas, insurance, driving permits, or destinations — is general information, not legal, financial, medical, or travel advice. Verify requirements with official and professional sources before you rely on them.
5. Your content
If you add a personal photo for your widget, it stays on your device and is used only to render your widget. You are responsible for the trip details and photos you add and confirm you have the right to use them.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, and its content (excluding third-party and your own content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Destination imagery is provided by third parties such as Unsplash and Pexels under their respective licences.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of countdowns, prices, weather, or partner information.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the App, third-party partners, or reliance on any information in the App. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update this Agreement. When we make material changes we will raise the version number and ask you to accept again inside the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Agreement.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end the App or your access to it if you breach this Agreement or where required by law.
12. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
